(Exemplars Receive EAs Plaques)

In concluding the maiden edition of the ENVIRONMENTAL LAGOS PLATFORM Exemplary Awards, winners were presented with their awards.

The itinerary covered a visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, a robust meeting with the Management of ELP and the presentation of plaques.

The plaque for the EAs was selected to embody the essence of the awards.

It is golden and has a lone big star at the top, with a whorl cascading down to other stars, while sitting on a chunky base.

This indicates a role model giving exemplary leadership to others; in a society that we must hold precious as gold, while we endeavour to make the foundations solid.

Exemplars (as the recipients are called) were thrilled by the proceedings of the day, and upon receiving their awards, they thanked Environmental Lagos Platform and declared that they are spurred to do more for society; in order to make things better.

The process of nomination and vote has entrenched the impact of the Exemplary Awards, as a meritorious route of extolling virtues and recognizing people doing their bits in championing livability in Lagos and creating a positive harmonious environment.
